Keeping It Small

For now, we are keeping Intertwine small.
Not because we want to close doors,
but because we want to open the right ones.

Smallness allows for intimacy.
Intimacy allows for genuine connection.
Connection creates continuity —
where we can return again and again,
and slowly build something new together.

Smallness also honors sensitivity.
It protects privacy.
It gives us room to grow trust.

The truth is: play parties are a complex terrain.
On the surface, they can appear shallow —
from sport-fucking at the Orgy Dome
to swingers showcasing trophy wives.
And some are.

Play parties also carry stigma.
They catch judgment.
They easily become the target of projected fears.
“I would never,” usually means,
“That scares the shit out of me.”

But when created with care and intention,
these environments can become wells of depth.
They invite us into vulnerability, into desire,
into parts of ourselves we are often told to hide.

It will not always be comfortable.
You will find your edges here.
The opportunity to explore those edges —
to lean into discomfort while surrounded by support —
is what Intertwine is all about.

Here, we keep it small so we can face our collective edges, fears, and biases together, with care.
So we can explore depth, not surface.
So we can build a community
where intimacy, sensitivity, and trust come first.
